Veterinarian in Greeley & Evans, Colorado

Since we opened our business in 1991, Powell Veterinary Service has helped pets and pet owners in Northern Colorado maintain strong, rewarding relationships for life. We provide a wide array of veterinarian services to an extensive service area, including Greeley, Evans and other surrounding towns.

We provide top-quality, compassionate care serving all your pet’s needs, from one conveniently located veterinary center. Further, we provide house and emergency calls to our established clients, and when our schedule allows for it, we allow our clients to make appointments at the veterinarian clinic after hours.

Our veterinary facility is located in Kersey, CO, approximately ten miles from Evans, the University of Northern Colorado and other areas of southern Greeley. Visitors from Evans can find us using the highway or county roads. Take Highway 85 north to Highway 34 and go east towards Kersey to reach us from the highway, or take Country Road 54 east to County Rd 53 and head south to avoid highway traffic. Visitors from Greeley can also use Highway 85 going south and then Highway 34 east towards Kersey.

Our experienced veterinarians and vet technicians give each animal individual attention. We provide preventative care including vaccinations, spaying, neutering and ear cropping, as well as orthopedic care, stem cell therapy, laser therapy and other treatments for injuries, old age and illnesses.

When it’s that difficult time to have your pet euthanized, we can come to your home to perform the process, or we can do it at the clinic. For your reference, we also provide cremation services.

Powell Veterinary Service offers professional ear cropping services. The process of ear cropping helps ensure safety for working dogs and helps define and preserve standards and character in breeds: Great Danes, Boston Terriers, Bouvier des Flandres, Schnauzers, Presa Canario, Doberman Pinschers, Miniature Pinschers, Boxers, Brussels Griffon Manchester Terriers and Pit Bull Terriers.
